Keeping Band Affordable and Exceptional

Fundraising helps keep marching band affordable for all families and provides resources that are not fully funded through school budgets, including equipment, uniforms, transportation, music, props, and educational opportunities for our students.

Our mission is simple: to make participation in the PRHS Band Program affordable for all families while maintaining the excellence that makes our program a standout. Through fundraising, we ensure students, parents, and the community enjoy the full benefits of music and performing arts.

How Fundraising Helps: 

Every dollar raised helps us:

• Purchase, repair, and maintain school instruments
• Provide sheet music, supplies, and equipment
• Cover consulting fees for instructional staff
• Support travel & expenses to competitions

The Peachtree Ridge Bands thrive when every family contributes. Increased participation in fundraising and volunteer efforts helps keep costs affordable, supports student opportunities, and strengthens our program for everyone. We encourage every family to find meaningful ways to get involved throughout the year—whether through fundraising, volunteering, donations, or sharing our efforts with friends and family. Together, small contributions can make a significant impact.

Here is how you can support our students: 

Monthly Fundraisers & Events

 These are special fundraising opportunities that are available for a limited time throughout the year. 

• Support this years fundraiser, Meals to Missions!
• ALL Parents are invited to join us on Monday, July 13 at 7:30 p.m. for information about this meaningful fundraiser. We will meet in the Orchestra room, enter near the flag pole! 
• July 15 - August 15 PRHS Marching Band and Football students will be raising funds for Meals to Missions.
• PRHS Marching Band and Football students will come together to pack meals on Monday, August 3! Meals will be sent to those in need in our community and around the world. 
• Attend monthly Spirit Nights at a local restaurant! During a designated evening, the restaurant donates a percentage of the sales generated by the organization's supporters back to the cause. Dates and locations coming soon!
• Taste of the Ridge (November 2026) - Details about the annual event coming soon! 
• Valentine’s Day Candygrams (February 2027) - Details to come! 
• Concession Treats at Band Concerts
• Marching to the Movies New! This spring (April 2027) we will host a movie night open to the entire community, proceeds from the event will support the PRHS Bands. Details to come!

• Employer Matching Donations & Volunteer Grants
  Many companies like Bank of America, Cisco, and Pfizer match donations or make contributions for volunteer hours. Check with your employer to see if they participate!

Lion Spirit Store Purchase items you and your student need for the entire marching band in our Amazon store! Double check that you have all you need for Band Camp!	PRHS Band Swag Store Purchase spirit wear to sport at games, competitions, or just because! Deadline to order is July 23!	Band Blankets Purchase a spirit blanket for cold football nights and cozy bus rides!  Deadline to order is August 1!

These opportunities provide steady support for our program throughout the year.

Volunteer Support & Attendance

Not every family can participate financially, and that's okay. You can also support the band by attending football games and marching band competitions to support our students!

Most event tickets are sold through GoFan.
